About the job:
As a Career Guidance Specialist, you provide support to young adults who do not have a career plan after graduation, working specifically on career awareness. You may work in a variety of settings to guide young adults in making decisions about their work.
As a Career Guidance Specialist, you may have to:
- Handle emotionally-difficult conversations with young adults
- Face cases of young adults with significant personal, social, or behavioral problems to overcome
- Deal with stubborn young adults, who may totally refuse your advice
As a Career Guidance Specialist, you will get to:
- Be satisfied from helping young adults with their careers
- Choose from a wide range of places to work, such as educational institutions or private offices
- 40 hours per week
- 9 months/year
