As an Agricultural Extension Agent, you are an intermediary between research and farmers. You operate as a facilitator and communicator, helping farmers in their decision-making and ensuring that appropriate knowledge is implemented to obtain the best results with regard to sustainable production and general rural development.

As an Agricultural Extension Agent, you get to:

To work as an Agricultural Extension Agent, you must obtain a degree in one of many areas including Education, Agriculture, Animal Science, or other related fields.
