As a Special Effects (SFX) Make-Up Artist, you apply make-up for visual and theatrical effects. You may also use prosthetic sculpting, molding and casting techniques to create unique and advanced visual effects.
As a Special Effects (SFX) Make-Up Artist, you may have to:
- Travel abroad or attend international seminars to learn about "what's new"
- Be very active in promoting yourself, to build your name and find more jobs
- Spend money up-front to buy the make-up products
