About the job:
As a Geophysicist, you'll study the physical aspects of the earth using a range of methods, including gravity, magnetic, electrical and seismic. You'll play a vital role in the oil and gas industries by creating a picture of what lies below the earth's surface.

Education stuff:
- In order to become a Geophysicist, at the Bachelor's level, you may study Geology, Mathematics or Physics
- Then, you may continue with an advanced degree in Geophysics with advanced coursework or fieldwork in their specialty of your choice
- From geophysics, it may be possible to move into seismology (as a seismic interpreter), engineering geology or hazard prediction.
